Places such as Reserverd, clothing trendy company, or Rylko – one of the best proper shoes from Poland, stand up here.

If you have more money to spend Florianska offers plenty of luxury jewelery stores, selling wide range of gold, silver and, polish speciality – amber, products. Additionally there is couple of really good restaurants, and plenty of good pubs and clubs.

Also – there is the best place is what you are looking for is rare or simply difficult to find in english version. Most books are imported in just couple of copies. So – go there, explore and enjoy.

What may be interested from the point of view of a foreigner would be a selection of maps and travel guides available on the books section, and box office where you can get the tickets to major events taking place in Krakow. Andrzej Mleczko Gallery features sketches and drawings of this artist. Some people says Mleczko is the Polish Gary Larson (of ‘Far Side’ fame) but no matter how one could describe his style, he is one of the most recognizable people in Poland. He used to publish in most of polish newspapers and is still actively creative. Here, you’ll find everything covered with Mleczko’s cartoons : mugs, plates, T-shirts etc. as well as books of his work. The walls are lined floor to ceiling with postcards featuring his cartoons. Although they are all in Polish, its worth visiting – even if you don’t speak the language. Most of them are really funny – and would create a great souvenir to take home.

Great little shop selling natural products. One of not many places in Krakow where one can buy every ecological and etnic food. The exotic range of odds and ends make it a delight for those on a hunt for something a little bit unusual. Try great vegetables and self made bread! Also great place if you are looking for a gift – they sell self made soaps, candles, ect. Everything top quality! Very friendly and competent staff – don’t hesitate to ask them questions concerning their offer.
