Hotel Prokocim is a small family business located in a district called Prokocim, surprise, surprise …. It’s rather far away from the city center, half-way to Wieliczka, place known for the salt mine. Still - good bus and tram communication with the city center.

Hotel Prokocim can accommodate up to 45 guests at one time in single, double and triple rooms, each one of them with a private bathroom. Rooms are clean and tidy with Internet connection installed. If you are travelling with a laptop all you need is just a wireless card installed and you can use the net without any limits.

Excellent service is reliable and discreet. And the staff always helpful.

Even though it’s not the most central place and not the biggest and best equipped one it may be attractive for some because of its low prices. Single room costs 70 PLN (12 GBP, 18 Euro) per night, which is more that good price. For people travelling by train may be important that second biggest train station in Krakow, is near the hotel.

To sum up - something good, and cheap, an alternative for a hostel if you don’t like loud crowds so characteristic for hotels and hostels in the center.
