Albo Tak – it’s not every day experience that you have to pass a bookstore on your way to have a drink. Well … welcome to Poland, lots of things can happen here.
Albo Tak is located right next to Main Market Square, on the first floor, right above weird esoteric bookshop. In the day time you can find here plenty of people reading newspapers, discussing philosophical matters, or even simply playing chess (available from the bartender). In the night it gets wilder. For a while in the past it used to be a place where the most common customer was a drunken student pretending to be a fully-fledged intellectuals already. Later on it became posh and more young, loaded people started to show up making the bartenders angry ordering a cup of tee with a spoon of absinthe added. Mostly, though, it’s simply a good place at any time. Plenty of choice of drinks, including mulled wine (grzaniec) in addition to all the old favourites. Good polish beers. Must go there if you’re in Krakow.

hi, I totally recommend that pub. It’s really nice and quiet during the day and entertaining in the evenings. Cheap beers and vodkas, great cofee, nice cakes – all you’d want from a pub as Albo Tak. I had couple of nice meetups with my friends there and we had great fun drinking there. So – if you’re in Krakow and want to go somewhere fun just come to this one – it’s just off the Market Square, the entrance is through a bookshop!
