With the whole respect to Krakow, the city is not particularly known for having too much to do with wine bars, and the wine culture. What stands out is Bodega Marques Vinoteca - a place where you can enjoy large selection of wines, served by knowledgeable people and accompanied by good food.

Being located in the vicinity of the Main Market Square this really exceptional place is definitely worth visiting. The owners certainly know their subject - there is over three hundred varieties from distinguished wine-houses across the globe. Spanish, Portuguese, French wines ready and waiting for any winelover.

Traditional Spanish dishes, served on the spot - such as tapas go really well with the vine list. You can enjoy all that in warmly furnished restaurant-alike rooms, equipped with comfortable seats. Very classy place - but, as already said, one of not many places in Krakow to provide that large selection of wine. Prices are average - slightly too high for students, but perfectly accessible for foreigners.
