Exhibition in The National Museum in Krakow – ‘First step towards a collection of Western Contemporary Art’

Calling all art lovers! – ‘First step towards a collection of Western Contemporary Art’ – a new exhibition has arrived to The National Museum in Krakow. Marked by such names as Nabuyoshi Araki, Miquwl Barcel, Francesco Clemente, Eric Fischl, Mike Kelley, Andreas Slonimski, Andy Warhol the exposition is located in the main building of the Museum and it is truly great. It’s the first time when such huge collection of privately owned masterpieces have found they way to Krakow. It’s main goal is to present the reception of postmodernism in post war Poland. It shows how such trends as pop-art,appropriation art or transavangarde, so important in western culture, inspired polish contemporary art.

Not to be misses by any genuine art enthusiast.
