Manggha Japanese Centre in Krakow commemorates 100th birthday of Akiro Kurosawa with an exposition
Manggha Japanese Centre in Krakow opens an exposition to commemorate 100th birthday of Akiro Kurosawa. Exposition features posters of polish artists for Kurosawa’s films screened in Poland. Along with them one can enjoy memorabilia of Andrzej Wajda from his encounters with famous Japanese director. Addiotionally Manggha is going to present Kurosawa’s films.
Just in case you’ve been in outer space last couple of decades – Kurosawa was one of the most known Japanese directors. His films were translated and screened in almost every country. Also he received Oscar prize in 1951. His famous films are “Rashomon” and “Seven Samurais”.
